Her Baby Blues….

April 27, 2009

Here and there you will stumble across posts about our daughter, Taytum.  Both sides of the family live out of state, so pictures of her are on high demand.   She is an adventurous 19-month old little girl now.  The days of her barely able to stand are over.  We find surprises in all the kitchen drawers due to her dropping what she had for something new and exciting!  She is constantly making new faces(pictured below) and loves to dance(you can always catch her in a groove).

Everytime I look at her, those baby blues make my heart melt.  She is becoming such a big girl in a blink of an eye, that I can not help but click away at those simple moments.  Below are pictures from one morning where she decided her teddy’s hat and scarf would look better on her.  Taytum loves to accessorize… from mommy’s purses to daddy’s hats.  We love you princess*

My other “kids”…

April 22, 2009

My husband and I have 2 other “kids” running around the house, craving for attention and hogging the bed. Introducing…….Murphy & Molly.    We could not imagine our life without these 2 knuckleheads  :)   No matter what your day was like, walking thru the front door you are showered with love.  Murphy is 5 and Molly is going to be 2 this October.  They are both broken hair Jack Russell Terriers.  Their energy level is opposite of one another.  Molly is a jumping machine, while Murphy loves to sunbathe on top of the couch cushions.  Hence, the reason she has a cast on her foot. Molly had to have foot surgery due to jumping off a VERY  high bed and breaking 3 of her “toes”.  Poor Girl!    She is doing very well now and on a fast road to recovery.   Kids… always doing something!!

Making her debut – meet baby “B”!    What a cutie and such a good girl! She was 7 days old when I photographed her. Best wishes to the new parents.blogb2
I can’t say enough about how much I love photographing newborns, especially within the first week. They are so sleepy and look like little angels. It is so neat to watch them grow! If you are expecting and want to set up a Newborn Photo Session either at your home or my home studio – make sure to call me a few weeks before the due date so I can pencil your session in. The best time to take newborn photos is the first 10 days! Call or email me for details!

There is something about a pregnant woman that is so beautiful.  The way they…glow…carry themselves… and most of all their happiness. I had the pleasure of capturing some intimate moments with this couple before their lil one makes his grand entrance. They are such a joy to shoot with. Eager to meet baby “B”
