Hello! Before I get into the depths of my About Me section, I want to first extend cheers to you!  Cheers for starting this relationship out right. That fact that you took time to read this portion already shows our connectivity and means a great deal to me.  I’m not here to just click away behind a camera; I’m here to marry my internal passion of being a professional photographer with getting to know you and learning, capturing and sharing your photographic ceremonial dreams.

So who am I?  I’m Catara Carrell–a down to earth family gal who pursued her dreams of becoming a professional photographer six years ago.  During that time I’ve had the ability and honor to learn from progressive and traditional professional photographers, which has helped me grow into the photographer I am today.  I’ve blended their unique styles into one of my own, which I like to dub “Life Photography,” a new age twist on traditional photography utilizing natural light, which captures moments of vibrant genuine reality on your beautiful day.

I’m married to my wonderful supportive husband who also happens to be my partner / second shooter in this professional journey of mine.  Having the ability to pursue my dream of being a professional photographer while having him by my side is unbelievable. Capturing the love of your day with the love of my life is a dream come true.  We are proud loving parents to two * Princesses *, which are the center of our universe.

When I’m not traveling for work, I’m relaxing with my family in the greater Philadelphia area and thinking about and testing fresh ways to turn your photographic dreams into reality.  As you’ll hear from my many references, I hope this photographic journey is just a start of a lasting relationship between you and I, and I’m honored in the opportunity you’ve given me to share it with you.  So here I am, here for you.
